The infant insert is recommended in order to use our Standard size Tula baby carrier from newborn up to until your baby can sit independently with knees dangling down freely in an ergonomic spread squat position and is a minimum of 15lbs.
Do you need infant insert for Tula explore?
The Tula Explore Baby Carrier does not require an infant insert and can be used, with baby facing you, beginning at 7 lb.
How do you put a baby in a Tula infant insert?
You need to lay it down, then lay baby over it and secure the seatbelt/ straps, then take baby striped to the insert and put it in the Tula carrier.
When can I use ergo infant insert?
When can I stop using the infant insert? When you are comfortable that baby has strong head and neck control and he is able to sit with bended knees in the carrier on it’s own, you no longer need to use the infant insert.
Can I use ergo infant insert in Tula?
Can you use the Tula infant insert in an Ergo (or the Ergo insert in a Tula)? Again, the answer is no. The infant inserts are made specifically for the different carrier brands: the infant insert by Ergo is made to make an infant fit in an Ergo, and the Tula insert is made to make an infant fit in a Tula.
